Michigan Authorities To Serve Greg Niewendorp Monday With Search Warrant

Greg Niewendorp says he's been told to expect the county sheriff, George Laseter, to serve him tomorrow (Monday) with a warrant allowing the Michigan department of agriculture to test his cattle for bovine tuberculosis.

Niewendorp, who has refused until now to have his cattle tested, says he doesn't want supporters travelling to his farm.  My apologies for not having made this clear in my previous post.

He says he's been told that Michigan State Police will be waiting down the road, and will be under the control of Laseter.

What will happen?  "We'll have to wait and see", says Greg.

(NOTE: I'm posting this over the phone by dictation while I'm away from my computer.)

www.nicfa.org will have updates on the situation as it unfolds. There are a number local people who will be coming to support Greg, and he appreciates all the support he has been getting. I will be an interesting day at the farm!
